iOS 17.0.1 and iPadOS 17.0.1 starts rolling out,iOS 17.0.2 for iPhone 15 lineup

Apple launched iOS 17 four days back and now the company is rolling out a new iOS 17.0.1 firmware update. It is packed with bug fixes and security patches to some vulnerabilities. Moreover, iPadOS 17.0.1 is also rolling out with some bug fixes and improvements in the performance of your iPads.

The update features fixes for security vulnerabilities and some critical bug fixes. Other than this , the update is not having any major features. Users can expect some new features in iOS 17.1 or iOS 17.2. As recently Apple has released its iOS 17 with many new features that include new standby feature, NameDrop, Contact posters, interactive widgets on the home screen and lock screen, stickers drawer, and more.

The iOS 17.0.1 update is compatible with a wide range of iPhone models, including the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11 series, iPhone 12 series, iPhone 13 series, iPhone 14 series, and the latest iPhone 15 series is getting the iOS 17.0.2.

Usually, you will see the update notification on your iPhone or iPad automatically. But if you don’t see any update notification and facing any issues after updating to iOS 17, then you can check for the new update manually. To check the update on iPhone or iPad go to the Setting > General > Software update. If you see the iOS 17.0.1 update then tap on download and install.
